13 Brands Showcase Their Exclusive Collections at Fashion Week in Sofia in EFE Hall at Hotel Marinella
The sixth edition of Sofia Fashion Week SS 2018 showed the talent of the Bulgarian designers and the Bulgarian spirit. Singer Vessela Boneva and the saxophonist Svetlin Ksilev have opened the fashion week with the Super Model song, written specifically for the event.
Evgenia Zhivkova launched 12 fashion models from her Spring / Summer 2018 collection. True to her elegant style, the designer showed a clear silhouette and a classic combination of black and white in front of the audience. Cut-out coats and jackets, dresses over the knee, embroidered beads and laces in the garments were part of the new proposals of the Jeni Style Fashion House. There were also fresh spring colors such as blue, cyclamen and pale pink in combination with silk, lace, taffeta and flax.
100 Kila strengthened the Bulgarian theme with a mix of the most hit songs. The beautiful girls of Inter Models and the guest-made dummies from abroad dipped during the performance with the models of Djofra Fashion. The creative brand has brought the audience into a different, colorful and rich in emotion world in which you define the rules yourself. Their “No Such a Woman” collection is inspired by the love of true female beauty and the surrounding world. This is the fashion brand that reminds us that the only thing you own and which others do not have is that you yourself – your sound, your mind, your story, and your vision. Model Fashion TV – Velina Uzunova presented an attractive black tulle dress with many colored pumpkins decorated with cyclamen leather slippers. The scene was colorful and spring.
In the role of a fashion model for the fashion brand, 29DESIRES defines pop singer Tita against the background of her piece Antilopa. Animals and prints of animal skins, leopards, tiger, antelope, zebra, and snake went to the fashion scene. They are just part of the inspiration in prints, which is a catchy wink to the modern woman who wants to be anything but a trivial choice in the day. Designer Georgi Dragnev had bet on the sporty urban chic in line with the dynamics of life.
The fashion show continued with the performance of Gerry-Nicole, who presented the Bulgarian brand IMANE. For the first time, designer Antony Stoyanova participated in the Sofia Fashion Week SS 2018 and impressed the crowded EFE Hall of the Marinela Hotel with a very fresh collection.
For the ladies and gentlemen, KWIAT has presented designer glasses designed by Bulgarians for Bulgarians.
Every detail in glasses is created with lots of love. The Spring-Summer 2018 Collection – KWIAT Exclusive provokes a variety of colors and shapes. Butterfly glasses, evolved kidney with a double frame, round and oval shapes are hit this year as well. Strikes, brocade and transfusions are the colors that will shine with full force on the faces of modern ladies.
Pavel and Venci Ventz lit the audience with their last musical clip shot entirely at the Bulgar Restaurant at the Marinela Hotel – Fake Profile.
With a ballet stage, Bilyana Yotovska’s show has begun, which brought a lot of summer mood to the stage with the collection of swimsuits. The face of the label this season is the Gerry Doncheva model, which opened the show together with her daughter Biljana Yotovska. For a nice and tight figure, besides swimwear she offered sports wedges and home pajamas. The collection captivates with extremely fresh prints. Spring motivation comes with the right team! The fashion brand PAPENA presented the Limited High Voltage Collection on the stage of Sofia Fashion Week SS 2018. The models are all handmade, which includes drawing on clothes, tearing, cutting, spraying. The designer Plamena Misheva works not only for the Bulgarian but also for the German market.
A collection inspired by the fragrance of perfume Wolf Walley and the song “Memories” by Miroslava Katsarova brought the audience into a sweet memory like kissing a child. Memory – warm, like a gentle day. Remembering – unforgettable, like the first love. Memory – unique, like life. The designer Milena Petrova has captured the emotion and managed to pass it on to her collection. Very lively, gentle, fresh – their offer is for all women who are in love with life.
Boutique VIGGO presented limited and unique models. The motto of the brand is that every woman must be unique and noticeable.
Designer Vesselin Nikolov from N-style was betting on the classic colors – black and white for the busy business woman. Clear lines, style and class combined with natural fabrics shone on the podium of the fashion week.
Two brands were presented by the designer Daniela Todorova – CODE FIT and AMARI. Sporty overalls and wedges in the gray range of lightweight fabrics pleasing to the body. Sport is health, this is the provocation of the fashion brand to the viewers of the review. After the result of the sport comes the nice figure. AMARI relies on luxury as a state of mind, and that was the lead in their collection.
The Bulgarian evening ended with a modern look at the Bulgarian folk costume with the debut collection “Eno dream” of the designer ELENA HRISTOVA.
